Ali Reza’s main objective behind starting Sheesha Sky Lounge, was to introduce the people of India to a unique gastronomical experience which was not present at that time in the F&B Industry. Having graduated from Australia in Architecture & Interior Design, Ali picked up on a lot of different design themes and elements which he has implemented in his restaurants.

Sheesha Sky Lounge has been designed in such a way so as to make the customer feel good about the ambience in which he is dining. The open to sky concept of Ali’s restaurants have been a sure-shot hit with his clientele, which ranges from Bollywood Celebrities to Politicians & VIPs and Page 3 socialites.

Ali has curated the menu of his restaurants keeping in mind the unique needs and tastes of the Indian people, as well as making sure that the impetus is given to healthy and well-balanced meals, as he himself is a fitness freak.

Having started his first restaurant in Mumbai way back in 2003, the concept of an open to the sky restaurant, which was never before tried in the city, was an instant hit with the public. Which led to the opening of Sheesha Sky Lounge all across the country. Many have tried and failed to replicate the concept of his restaurants, but Ali’s keen eye for attention to detail as well as his unique style of listening to his customers and giving them exactly what they need has seen him change the F&B Industry in India, and earned him a celebrity status as well.
